Yes this internship is finally coming to an end! Just 4 more days, with the last day being incredibly fun cos there’ll be 2 events, one in the day (which I suddenly realized I may not be involved but that’s fine with me), and a networking session at night. That I’ll definitely go for, simply because I’m the one who did the booking and this company that I’m interning at got this special deal cos of me #thickskinned. Just imagine, ending your internship with absolutely good beer. How bout that!
Like what I’ve mentioned before, it’s not the say that I don’t like it here at this company. I’ve learnt alot definitely, and thankfully for the fact that it’s so small, everyone can really come into close contact (the boss sits just less than 10m away from me. Close proximity as can be), which also means that I can hear everything and learn bout everything cos everyone is so willing to share. All was well, until they started hiring so many people that they themselves can handle. And when someone of suitably calibre and capability comes in, that person wouldn’t want to leave. That’s fine for me, cos to me, that’s another person to learn from. But no. Someone has to come in and create politics and the workplace is now so full of hypocrisy. I really dont like it like that and it’s making me dread work. That said, everyone in the office knows I’m leaving and the reaction to that is quite varied. Some of them are decided that they won’t pass more work to me; others feel that they should pass me more work. Doesn’t matter to me, that’s just something to do.
Damn excited, just 4 more days and I’m out of this place. Then its gonna be my Bangkok trip! Excited much :)
